We are a family run business in Kinlochleven, and together we are sure to offer you a warm welcome on your stay in the Scottish Highlands. We provide varying types of accommodation whilst catering for a range of budgets – from camping and glamping pods to hostels & our luxury bed & breakfast. We can accommodate both large and small groups, families and couples. Ideally located on the West Highland Way between Glencoe and Ben Nevis, Fort William.
Our hostel can accommodate up to 39 guests in our fully centrally heated Hostel, with 10 en-suite rooms in various room sizes. Room sizes vary from twin, 3 bedded, 4 bedded & an 8 bedded room.
Overlooking the village of Kinlochleven, our lodge has been recently renovated with new heating system and double glazing throughout. The hostel sleeps up to 32 guests with 8, 4 bedded rooms available.
Adjacent to the Blackwater Hostel, all overlooking the river Leven (2 overlook the campsite). Pods available in varying sizes from 2 bedded mini lodges up to 4 bedded mega lodges.
The Campsite is situated adjacent to the Blackwater Hostel, many of our guests tell us it’s, “The best equipped site along the West Highland Way”. The camping ground is ideally located as it is right in the centre of the village.
Kinlochleven is situated on the West Coast of Scotland in the heart of Lochaber – the Outdoor Capital of the UK – great for all you outdoor enthusiasts! With climbing, hillwalking, kayaking, canyoning, white water rafting, mountain biking – just a few of the many activities on the doorstep. If its a relaxing break away you are after, the village and the surrounding area boasts an abundance of beautiful walks with amazing scenery.
The hostels, together with the campsite make an ideal stopover while walking the West Highland Way – 22 miles after Bridge of Orchy / 9 miles from King House Hotel. With many choosing Kinlochleven as the last stop off before the finish point in Fort William.
Although a small village, Kinlochleven has many local amenities such as a Co-op supermarketwhich is open from 7am-10pm everyday, Post Office, Riverside Chippy the local fish and chip shop and also three pubs offering hearty bar meals The Highland Getaway, The Tailrace Inn and the MacDonald Hotel. Most stop serving food around 8:30pm and so be sure to stop by before then. Why not try one of the local River Leven Ales to accompany your meal, they are brewed right here in the village – just around the corner from the hostel.
