21 Mar Covid-19 update
Updated 21st March 2020
Just a wee update on our plans for the next few months…
“Due to the Coronavirus pandemic we have decided to close our doors to help reduce the spread of this awful disease that is escalating across the world. We have a duty of care to our staff, the community and our customers.
We would ask that everyone please takes this seriously, as folk are still travelling even after all the news coverage and government advice. We do not want to encourage non-essential travel and this is why we have made the decision to close our doors for the time being. The government is currently advising people not to travel for up to 12 weeks, therefore our plan of action is to remain closed for the duration in the hope that this will suppress the virus, protect our local community and relieve the stress on our NHS to allow them to save as may lives as possible.
If you are reading this and thinking of planning a trip in the next few months to the Scottish Highlands, please don’t do it!!! Scotland will always be here. Our mountains, rivers and glens that we all love exploring are going nowhere! We look forward to welcoming you all when we reopen.
Stay safe, stay well and stay sane!!
