The hostels, together with the campsite make an ideal stopover while walking the West Highland Way – 22 miles after Bridge of Orchy / 9 miles from King House Hotel. With many choosing Kinlochleven as the last stop off before the finish point in Fort William.

Continue through the village of Kinlochleven, on passing the Co-op supermarket take the 3rd turning on your right and drive past the Ice Factor door for 200 metres which will bring you to the Blackwater Hostel and Campsite on your left.

Continue through the village of Kinlochleven; on passing the Co-op supermarket take the second turning on the right, opposite the Highland Getaway. After 100 yards turn right onto Foyers road, then left up the hill. Continue to the top of the hill. Follow the road to your right around the back of the cream building. Just after the end of the cream building take a sharp right to reach the hostel.

Before descending down viaduct into village, take sharp right onto Garbhein Road, then take first right and continue straight in front of you is Allengrange Bed and Breakfast.
Our hostel can accommodate up to 39 guests between 10 private en-suite rooms of various sizes. Each room has central heating, double glazing, TV, comfortable bunk beds with bed linens included. The Glamping Pods are ideally positioned with many overlooking the River Leven. A great alternative to camping. We have 10, all season pods sleeping from 2-4 people. Each pod offers luxuries such as electric lights & sockets, free wifi, TV, microwave, fridge and kettle, electric heater/fan, storage & midge screens.
